Cabin Fever Changes!

To all Flyers attending the Cabin Fever meet this Saturday at Ballston Spa HS - they have posted CHANGES to the meet because of too many kids:

The good news is they didn't eliminate any events.  The bad news is we need lots more timers, and the 13&over group is swimming late.

The meet was already broken into 3 sessions with the third session being all 500 freestyles, however, they have now moved all 13&over events to the third session and will start the second session (11-12's only) earlier.

So, there is no change to the first session (10-and-unders):  warmup at 7AM, meet will start at 8:00.
*Second session (11-12's only): warmup 10:45AM, meet will start at 11:30.
*Third session (13&older): warmup 3:00, meet will start at 3:45.

Each team has been assigned a lane and time for warmup - WE WARMUP AT THE START OF EACH SESSION'S WARMUP TIME!  And, there is no separate warmup/cool down pool.  If your swimmer is late, THEY CAN NOT WARMUP!

Lastly, and unfortunately, it appears that the host team simply saw our total team number and has assigned us to have TWO timers covering Lane 4 FOR ALL THREE SESSIONS!  Some hosts (like us!) take the time to break a team's numbers down to sessions, then assign appropriate timing assignments.  We have fewer swimmers in the first and third sessions, so, we apologize for having to have some of our parents time 2 meets in a row.
ATTACHED IS A REVISED PARENT-TIMING SHEET.  If you're at the pool tonight or Friday, please re-intial your name, or contact Coach Paul by phone or email to confirm your assignment.  Otherwise, he'll be calling you late Friday night, after practice (and won't be happy!)!

At least there are the full compliment of events and relays.  Reminder that parents should get a program and write their swimmer's events, heats, and lanes on their hand - BEFORE they come on deck for warmup!  Any problems, questions, or concerns, please contact Coach Paul.
